Dubai’s iconic Palm Jebel Ali project is gaining momentum with the awarding of three major infrastructure contracts worth AED 750 million. The contracts have been granted to DBB Contracting, marking a key phase in the construction of what is set to become Dubai’s next landmark waterfront destination. Completion of the works is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, according to master developer Nakheel.

DBB Contracting, which has prior experience working on the project, will oversee the development of critical infrastructure across Fronds A to G of the island. This includes utility connections and road and pavement construction. The scope of work extends to telecoms and 11kV power distribution networks, along with the installation of utility mains and full road networks in the central “spine district.” The plan also includes grading works for DEWA’s transmission lines to serve the island.

The new phase comes as Palm Jebel Ali’s masterplan unfolds into a new growth corridor in the Jebel Ali area, signaling a significant expansion of Dubai’s urban and residential landscape. With 16 fronds and over 90 kilometers of planned beachfront, the seven-island archipelago will offer a next-generation blend of luxury living, leisure, and sustainability.

The development of Palm Jebel Ali reinforces Dubai’s long-term urban strategy and continued investment in large-scale real estate and tourism assets. As infrastructure progresses, new prospects are emerging for contractors, developers, utility providers, and investors eager to be part of the emirate’s next chapter in coastal living.
